ABOUT ME

Hello

My name is Dominique and I was born in 1966, too late unfortunately to remember this funky period where Peace and Love was the motto and Bob Dylan was singing
 "Like a Rolling Stone"

I was, like many little girls of my generation a great fan of Barbie and could boast a full bag of clothes some handmade with love by me. My mum was a great seamstress and was making most of our clothes and I remember many an afternoon siting beside her at the dinning room table, working on the scraps she would pass on to me. She also taught me to knit and my beloved dolls had little pullover with matching hats too. I have to admit making clothes for them until I was at least fourteen, (not many girl of this age today would be seen making doll clothes, except my talented daughter lol)
Anyway, after that the dolls were put away and life went on. But I have to say that when my first daughter was born I was delighted that she was a girl so I had some "excuses" to play with dolls again.
I only discovered Blythe 2 years ago but got very rapidly addicted and now own  24 Blythe.
I love making clothes for them, taking them out and take pictures. I do not mind anymore what people think. I have "come out of the closet" . Blythe has become a great part of our life , my 16 years old collect them and my wee one is getting her first one for her birthday....
They make us happy and we have great time together.

Love

Dominique
